The Cockpit forms the framework for all applications in the Data Master. It enables the modular structure of Data Master solutions through the individual combination of the required applications and data objects.
The Cockpit is where project-specific system settings are made and projects, users and roles are managed. All cross-application functions and editors are located here.
MS Excel integration and interfaces to external systems can be integrated as an option.
The data analysis provides meaningful diagrams for your data. You can immediately identify any need for action, and a mouse click takes you directly to the data objects displayed. Direct editing is possible from there. The data can be checked using rules and formulas. The results can be summarized into key figures. Analyses can be carried out automatically on a periodic basis and the progression can be displayed over the time axis.
The integrated task management controls creation and maintenance processes across all data objects without a complex workflow.
Task management recognizes open tasks based on the data constellation. In addition, repetitive processes can be generated from templates and tasks can also be created individually. The responsible organizational units and users can be freely defined.
Corresponding worklists contain the tasks, bundled by package and sorted by date and priority. A traffic light system makes it easy to monitor processing progress. In the event of deviations, escalation takes effect and rescheduling is flexibly possible.
Processing takes place directly from the task management system, either with the intelligent editor, as a mass change or in the SAP standard.
The intelligent editor simplifies interactive data maintenance with customer-specific masks that are reduced to the essentials. Field checks and value assignments with formulas and rules as well as many convenient functions support the user.
A tree view of the data objects enables drag & drop, predefined actions combine several individual steps and can be executed via a context menu.
Complex mass changes can be carried out in an audit-proof manner and without the usual hindrance of mass object locks. To do this, the data objects to be changed are first noted in an object list using multi-level selection.
Changes are made using predefined change variants (actions and methods) parameterized by the user. Rules and formulas can also be applied.
The object list is processed time-controlled in the background and all changes or errors are recorded in a detailed log.
